Co-operation with other companies

TSM has teamed up with other companies, putting its expertise to work in developing technical projects for their "marine" divisions.

TSM also signed a collaboration agreement with Vaudoise Assurances in 1998, to exploit synergies between the only two independent insurance companies in Western Switzerland with offices around the country.
In 2010, we entered into another new partnership, with Generali Assurances, to exploit synergies between our specialised insurance business and one of the leading general insurers in the Swiss market with an international footprint. Under these agreements, Vaudoise and Generali use TSM for all their customers' needs in the fields of marine and special risks insurance. These partnerships have enabled TSM to significantly broaden its footprint in Switzerland, while our partners can satisfy their own customers by providing specialist knowledge from a non-rival company. Our regional offices around Switzerland provide technical support to Vaudoise and Generali advisers.

Finally, TSM can rely on a global network of loss adjusters. These partners will assist recipients abroad whose shipments are lost or damaged, and report the claim to the Company’s head office in Switzerland.
